Villa Belo: a refuge of light and design on the coast of Sardinia

A former munitions depot transformed into a vibrant and colorful holiday home, Villa Belo on the island of La Maddalena tells a story of layering, recovery, and luminous details by Creative Cables.

Built in the 1940s and converted into a residence in the 1970s, the seafront villa retains the charm of that era thanks to its original period furnishings, which blend seamlessly with the new renovation project. Manuel Martina and Régis Lannoy chose to preserve the essence of the space by maintaining its vintage aesthetics, while providing it with completely renewed and custom lighting.

Creative Cables takes center stage in this makeover, with lighting solutions that enhance the rooms without compromising their identity. The standout features of the project include the colorful Creative-Tubes for visible installations, combined with minimalist lamps and lively details, creating a perfect balance between past and present. Every lighting point was carefully designed to highlight the Seventies furnishings, crafting cozy and unexpected atmospheres.

Villa Belo demonstrates how lighting can transform a space, infusing it with warmth and character while honoring its timeless essence. A sanctuary overlooking the sea, where design and light tell a story of continuity and innovation.
