A place of peace in the center of Cape Town, surrounded by the natural beauty of Table Mountain and Lion's Head. It's also a place where history meets the present, and where you can discover urban art and local culture.
All this and more is the iGadi House, a 19th-century property located in the historic heart of the South African capital, housing an exclusive hotel.
An unusual charm for the spaces of this Victorian-style residence, characterized by neutral colors and natural wood, illuminated by impetuous splashes of color. Spaces to which Creative-Cables lamps have brought even more harmony. Ten rooms, from the most intimate to the most spacious, welcoming common areas, and an outdoor living space, are indeed illuminated by lamps made in Italy, expertly chosen by the hotel owner, Cécile Bouquillion.
Once the door is crossed
"Fermaluce" is the name of a type of lamp holder that is used to attach a light fixture to a wall or ceiling.
The entrance is brightened up by various customized solutions. Simple yet full of personality, the Fermaluce lights welcome you at the reception and above the counter next to the entrance. The pendant light in the center of the room, on the other hand, is made completely invisible to showcase the suspended feather sculpture by Desiree Botterill. The system of lamps with suspended rosettes above the table also almost becomes part of the artwork. The absolute stars are the cyan blue textile cable and the P-Light sockets, in perfect harmony with the wall decoration and the chairs.
In shades of blue
Lighting up the lounge in intense shades of blue, a minimalist chandelier with a custom lampshade by Ashanti Design, placed under original period beams thanks to the Tube System, which combines the aesthetics of a textile covering and the practicality of a real outdoor wall installation. Next to the sofa, a plug-in lamp with a cable that blends into the blue wall, allowing the jewel-shaped bulb to stand out.
At the top of the stairs
The Rose-one with three petrol-colored arms featuring emerald, brass, and ultraviolet sockets, and the multicolored lampshades light up the stairs. To access the rooms on the upper floor, the spaces are illuminated by the Spostaluce lamps (created through the skillful use of decentralization kits) with silver half-sphere bulbs, perfect for highlighting the lampshades.
Behind closed doors
Creative-Cables also plays a leading role in bedrooms, offering customized solutions that enhance every part of the room.
Here are original table lamps with metal lampshades, custom suspensions, and functional lampshades (made possible with Spostaluce, the perfect wall sconces to bring light where you need it), all with a minimalist and elegant style.

And here is the bathroom!
Thanks to the protection rating, Creative-Cables lamps have also made their mark in bathrooms and outdoors. In the black and white-toned bathrooms, EIVA lamps were installed in the center, providing light to the entire room. Above the mirror, we chose esse14 lamps, which ensure an IP44 rating thanks to their 50 cm tubular bulb.
Under the stars
The outdoor areas are also designed by Creative-Cables with the EIVA system, certified IP65, which is not afraid of rain or bad weather. The Fermaluce with lampshades decorate the entrances and gardens of private rooms with personality.
